Found you through the Moms blogs (Rocky Mtn for you, Silicon Valley for me. Funny, neither of us is a mom)

I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter. I'm in Silicon Valley, and just this week read an article in the San Jose Mercury News about how Twitter might be the company to slay Google. http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_11776452

The theory being that twitter search gives you pointers to things happening "right now!", vs. google search which gives you pointers to things that happened some unknown time in the past.

Very interesting... I can see how search and social relevance and time are all intertwined in twitter space.

Of course, I also see a negative side to Twitter, in that "some" people who tweet end up taking themselves out of the present moment. I wrote this on SV Moms blog, and a pointer to that post through my blog is here: http://dadshouseblog.com/2009/01/15/twitter-is-bad-for-you/
